II. Setup - Connections

Three connections must be made for the GPS to work properly.

A. Battery Connections

1. Make sure the batteries are fully charged.

2. Place the batteries in the holders next to the processor in the backpack, and attach the clips that allow the batteries to power the processor.

B. Antenna Connection

1. Attach the extension to the backpack, and the antenna to the extension as shown below

2. Run the antenna cord and datalogger cord through the slots in the top of the backpack as shown below.

3. Screw the antenna cord into the antenna connection as shown below.

C. Datalogger Connection

Simply push the attachment at the end of the datalogger cord into the base of the datalogger as shown below.

The Pro XR should now be fully functional and ready to work.
